Hello from the Stones - Coloradan and German alike - it has been another fun filled week on the home front. There have been snow days in Colorado for the kids and lots of the white stuff in Germany for Mike. Most of the week went like clockwork with school, cleaning, playing, youth activities, basketball, dance, piano, parties and babysitting. Never a dull moment to be sure.
Tuesday was a little different as the Colorado Stones were home from school due to snow cramping the travel. Mylinda and the kids took advantage of the time to do a little extra cleaning and then the family also enjoyed the little event that the Young Women put on for the ward that night.
Mike visited the Stuttgart Christmas Market on Wed - some pictures are attached for you viewing pleasure. It was a beautiful market with lots of wares, good food and great decorations. A nice light snow fall capped off the atmosphere.

We wrapped up the week with a couple of basketball games for Michael and the Ward Christmas party for the rest of the fam in Colorado. Mike skipped his parties on Sat to stay home and play Skype games with the kids for the evening. And here we find ourselves on Sunday getting ready to start it all over again. One big change is on the horizon though - Mylinda and the gang are headed further West on Thursday night for Christmas and New Years at the Redds. Even better - Mike is only gone for 5 more Sundays and then we will have our Christmas Eve feast - on the 23rd of January though.
We are grateful for family and friends in this season of celebrating light - even the Light of the World. May we all be mindful of Him as he waits for our call and our demonstration of love in following Him. Merry Christmas to all of you from the Stones.
