Happy New Year

For New Years this year, we went out to Utah. It was SOOO fun. The night after we arrived there, we went to Dave and Candace's home (Mikes younger brother) and met up with another brother, Mark, and another sister, Julie, and her family. We had a pizza party and the kids had a lot of fun playing together. It was a wonderful evening.

A lot of the free time for the kids was spent sledding. They just couldn't seem to get enough of it. Good thing they spent so much time doing it there cuz CO sure hasn't had enough snow for that. I think that really they would have been happy doing anything at all with all those cousins, aunts, and uncles around.

We, of course, did the traditional and ever anticipated pinata bash. This year is the year of the tiger. Boy did Hans think it was awesome to get to bash a tiger. And then to get candy from it on top of that was just the best!

Following an amazing feast (as usual) we went outside and the stroke of midnight and made all kinds of great noise. Naturally most of the kids were barefoot and so they nearly froze but the fun and excitement warmed us all right up.

My favorite part was all the time we got to spend with family. I never seem so get enough of my awesome family. I love them all so very very much and all the time we get to spend together is a priceless treasure.
